Radon is a neutral and odorless gas generated by the failure of radioactive radium which sequentially is the corrode product of uranium, said to be found in the earth’s crust, and the composition of the underlying soil and rocks. The radiation decay products ionize genetic material, bringing about mutations from time to time turn so as to become cancerous. Radon exposure is another source of lung cancer in the same way as smoking. Radon gas levels move away by locality to ensure cleanliness of the air. Radon levels are scientifically proven to have increased lung cancer risk when lengthened exposure.
