Lung Tumors

Tumors can be either benign or malignant. When we say cancer, we refer to those tumors or lumps that are considered malignant. Benign tumors can typically be removed and do not spread to other parts of the body. While malignant tumors, develop aggressively and attack other tissues of the body, tolerating the entry of tumor cells into the bloodstream or lymphatic system. Given that lung cancer tends to multiplies or metastasize, it can be very severe cancer and the most complicated of all cancers to treat. Even as lung cancer can stretch to any organ in the body, there are certain organs—predominantly the adrenal glands, liver, brain, and bone—are the most frequent sites for lung cancer metastasis.
