Emphysema
Emphysema are usually prominent in the upper lobes of the lungs. It should not be mistaken by the blood vessels in the lungs whenever the abnormal air sac is present. Emphysema comes on steadily after years of contact to irritants such as cigarette smoke. With emphysema, the tiny air sacs in the lungs become damaged. Because the tiny sacs drop their “stretch,” fewer air gets in and out of the lungs. This causes you to suffer short of breath. If someone with harsh emphysema, the entire chest in fact become enlarge. Thus, a person with severe emphysema can lead to death.
